I really can't see myself picking this one up. It reminds me of the time when I saw Siryn on a cover wearing the traditional green and yellow Banshee costume, this was before I knew there was a Siryn, and I thought "What the-?! Banshee has... a chest!" The idea of a female Nightcrawler bothers me in some no doubt deeply psychological way. Probably fits into Freud's theory somewhere, sex and aggression... . I can sum up my reaction in one word: GAH!

Also, isn't there already a Marvel character named Nocturne? A cop who got turned into a blonde bat creature in a Spider-Man annual? Yes, I'm sure of it! If she's dead, is the name just up for grabs?

She looks like Kurt and Cece's love child to me. I kinda hope so, their interaction during claremont last run was one of the highlights for me. I like her look, but I hope she has her own unique powers and personality.

She at least seems to have inherited her father's sense of humor. And just because she has dreadlocks doesn't mean she'll be Cecelia's daughter. After all, teenagers are supposed to act strange sometimes.

Thanks X-Girl, glad that someone pointed that out. Most anyone can do the whole dreadlock thing. Ethnicity has nothing to do with it.

So it is still up in the air who her mom is? I wonder if that will be an unsolved mystery, like Kurt's Dad.
